One of my very favorite books is The Once-Upon-a-Time Dragon, also by Jack Kent, although came out in 1982 and seems hard to find these days. Great book with a wonderful, wry sense of humor.Ben Langhinrichshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16077213274836551992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4744234071085047198.post-38159608460905603192011-01-24T10:34:25.161-05:002011-01-24T10:34:25.161-05:00This book reminds me of one of my favorites, There...This book reminds me of one of my favorites, There's No Such Thing as a Dragon by Jack Kent. A boy discovers a dragon in his room and, of course, his mom says there's no such thing as a dragon. So the dragon gets bigger and bigger during the day until the boy finally pets it at the end of the day. Best line in the book is when the dragon has moved the house because he is so big the house becomes his shell. The dad comes home and the author writes dryly something like, "The first thing he notices is the house is gone."Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10424650697044682871noreply@blogger.com
